Brandi passante made an instant celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. Also, it included Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner of many years and now husband. The show auctions off items in lockers that have rent that was not paid for within three months. Brandi and Jarrod run the Now and Then store located in Orange California and took part in the The show hoping that they could get some affordable storage units. They didn't realize that the show would become reality-TV superstars! It was a huge success due to the couple who had a very shrewd approach to their bids throughout the entire episode, became stars. The success of reality TV helped their business which allowed them to grow. Their "Storage Wars" show led to a spinoff series named 'Brandi & Jerrod The Marriage of a Job with a focus on the couple.
