Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans had only one ambition in her life: to be a country singer and to write songs. Evans stated to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me here for me to perform." "It is what I enjoy doing the most which is why I'm bound to do well." Evans is also hoping to be successful in reviving the traditional style of country music that was popularized by legends such as Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Evans was also influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette as well as Patty Loveless. Evans was born in the year 1970, made her first mark during the late 90s, as many aspiring country music performers turned to contemporary pop songs. It is evident through her first album released in 1997, True Lies. True Lies was not a popular hit, despite having been highly praised by critics and receiving a 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for the top female vocalist. Evans was convinced to alter her song repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. It gave her the fame she'd been longing for. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 in Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans was raised with six siblings.
